I was surprised to see that the one of my local competitors has closed Discount Car and Truck Rentals in both Sidney, BC and Victoria, BC. I had a long reciprocal arrangement with Discount and I very surprised and saddened by the loss of another competitor after the closing of Thrifty Rent-A-Car and Dollar.
